Dear Miles (Four Months)

Dear Miles,

You are four months old! This has been a very eventful month for you, little guy. You started it off with a bout of croup, which seemed to be a lot worse on mama than it was on you. You bounced back pretty quick and have kept your cheerful personality through the whole thing. What made matters worse was daddy had the stomach flu during that time, as well. So mama got pretty worn out, but managed to stay healthy through it all! Here are some of the other notable highlights from this month-

Miles{tones}

1. Started rolling over in both directions.
2. Reaching for toys.
3. Putting everything in your mouth and chewing on everything (early teether, perhaps?).
4. Started laughing at Riggins.
5. Love being outside and going for walks.
6. Bath time is one of the highlights of your day and you love to splash in the water.
7. You are now sleeping like a champ! You average 10-12 hours straight at night and take 2-3 naps during the day.
8. You've discovered the magic of playing with your tongue, lips, and fingers.
9. You are very expressive with your eyebrows and it's the cutest thing.
10. You've perfected the art of self-soothing by sucking on two fingers when you are tired or getting hungry or upset. This has cut down on the crying and fussing exponentially.
11. You were dedicated at church the same day daddy preached his first sermon at Open Door!

It is so much fun watching you grow and experience all the new things of the world around you. You are so happy and full of fun facial expressions as long as you are not hungry or tired. We continue to pray that you grow up to love, follow, and serve Jesus from an early age, and that you share that love with everyone around you. We are so blessed to be your parents, little buddy, and we love you so much!
